Navigating iSIMS Profile page

Overview

iSIMS is our Integrated Student Management System.  It is hosted on our student domain MyMBCC.edu.jm.  The iSIMS My Profile page contains information relating your current status as a student at MBCC.  Please review it periodically and let us know if anything needs to be updated.
To access the profile page:
  1. Open a browser then navigate to https://mymbcc.edu.jm
  2. Login using your Microsoft Account. 
  3. This will open your Student Profile page.
    On this page, you will be able to view your programme, your ID picture (once you have taken your ID), your ID number, TRN, DOB, nationality, College email address etc. See below.
You will also be able to view information under various tabs.  Please note, some tabs will not be visible based on your current financial and registration status.

Alerts Tab

The Alerts tab displays information about outstanding fees, documents, infractions, upcoming events etc.   It is the default landing page when a student signs into iSIMS.

Bio Data Tab

The Bio Data tab displays your contact information.  You can request to add or delete information under this tab by clicking on the Update Profile button then typing in the information in the relevant fields.

The change will be shown only after the Registry reviews and accepts it.

Financial Data Tab

The Financial Data tab will display your fees and fee payments.  You can also find your outstanding balances here. 

To see your total payment as well as a breakdown of the allocation of your tuition and your balance, click the Show More button.

 Registration Tab

The Registration Tab will display the timetable for your programme.  Here you will need to register for/select the courses you are doing in the current semester.  After completing this process lecturers will be able to see you on their class list (including contact information) and enter your course grades. The registry will be able to generate your exam cards and transcripts after your grades are verified.

My Courses Tab

After completing Registration / Selecting your courses, The My Courses tab appears and displays all of your selected courses in a timetable format.  You may click on the course code for the courses to get additional information about the course.


To log out, click your picture at the top right-hand corner, then select the SIGN OUT option.
